1. Objective

2. Board and turns
The game uses a 3x3 board. Player 1 places X and Player 2 places O, taking turns to mark one empty square at a time.
3. Occupied squares
A marked square cannot be selected again. Submitted marks stay in place for the rest of the game.
4. Strategy
The centre and corners can create more winning opportunities than an edge. Block an opponent’s two-in-a-row before extending your own threats.
5. Draws
If all nine squares are filled and neither player has three in a row, the game ends in a draw.
