Trivia Battle is a ten-question race for 2-4 players. Answer each multiple-choice question and finish with the highest score.
Choose 2-4 players when creating the table. Select one or more question categories and one or more difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, or Hard.
The game builds a ten-question set randomly from the categories and difficulties you selected. Each selected category and difficulty is tracked separately, and the selection favors the least-used options so the final set is mixed as evenly as the available questions allow. Questions are not repeated within the same game.
All active players can answer the current multiple-choice question at the same time. You can submit one answer per question. Answers remain private while the question is active, so nobody can use another player’s choice to decide their own.
The question timer gives everyone a fixed window to answer. As soon as every active player has answered, the question moves to review immediately; there is no need to wait for the remaining time. A player who does not answer before the timer expires receives no point for that question. A resigned player is not counted as an active player waiting to answer.
A correct answer earns one point. An incorrect answer and an unanswered question both earn zero points. There are no bonus points, so the winner is determined by the total number of correct answers.
After a question resolves, the correct answer is revealed and each player’s submitted answer is shown on the answer cards. Player avatars identify who selected each answer, including players who share the same avatar. The progress indicators record whether each player answered correctly, incorrectly, or did not answer.
After each question, the game checks whether the sole leader can still be caught. If every other player would remain behind even by answering every remaining question correctly, the leader has clinched victory and the game ends immediately. This check considers all opponents, so it works the same way for games with 2, 3, or 4 players.
If nobody clinches victory early, all ten questions are played. The player with the highest score wins. If two or more players finish tied for the highest score, the result is a draw between those players.
